After I click on "check out", why does it take me directly to Amazon.com?

berlz™ uses Amazon.com as its primary shopping affiliate. Even though you are re-directed to Amazon.com, a portion of the proceeds will still go towards your selected charity as long as you complete your purchase at check-out.

Are my purchases secure?

When you are ready to check out, you will be directed to our primary affiliate, Amazon.com. Your check out process will provide all of the secure features that Amazon provides.

What percentage of our proceeds are donated to the charity?

50% of the proceeds from berlz™ will be donated to your selected fundraiser/charity.

How soon will the charity receive the donation from my purchase?

Checks will be issued to each charity monthly, within 15 days of receiving funds from Amazon.com.

Since a portion of the proceeds are going to a charity, are the purchases I make tax deductible?

No. We deduct the contributions to charities to offset some of our expenses of running the berlz™ site. This simplifies our tracking of the donations, making our operational costs less and therefore allowing us to give more to the charity of your choice.
